Fourteen years ago today I published my first blog post.

I was a totally different person then. Different mindset, different motivations - just different. Even now, especially since my mother died, I feel like I’m in this on again off again negotiation with my self around how much of myself I want to share.

I was at TJ Maxx recently and saw this beautiful M. It had rhinestones that were different shades of pink and I thought my youngest niece would love it!

Since I have two nieces, I decided to search for another one like it for my older niece, but after doing a search at the jewelry aisle, all I found were more Ms.

The other day I realized it was exactly one month until my mom’s transition date and I haven’t been the same since.

Almost everything agitates me, I’m plagued with hard memories and reminded of the time I walked my mother home.

I’ve seen this twice in the last 24 hours so it’s time to write.

God’s Word says joy comes in the morning. But today, as I write this, I’ve realized that joy comes in the mourning.

Some years back I went to the doctor for what I later learned was a panic attack.

It was my first one and I literally thought I was going to die, at my desk, at work.
